Q. What are you doing now?
I'm teaching Sound Engineering and Electronic Music at the Santaluces Community High School Academy of Performing Arts
Grades 9 - 12
My position is Music Teacher and I may be the only school teacher in Palm Beach County teaching music technology.
Q. What classes helped prepare you for this job?
The classes I took that are helping me the most are: Sound Recording, Computer Music Sequencing and Music Production classes. Also, my tenure at Hoot/Wisdom Recordings (Commercial Music Forum) has been helpful to provide my students with information about how the music business works.
Q. What is your long-term goal?
My professional goal is to become a Film Composer. My goal at work is to build a successful Commercial Music program that can become recognized in the county and the state. I would like to prepare my students to be natural feeder students for the FAU Commercial Music program.
